Job Details
We are looking for new Bar staff at Cappadocia Restaurant Epsom. We are an upmarket Mediterranean restaurant, with a large focus on customer satisfaction and ensuring that our customers feel like they are on a Mediterranean holiday whilst dinning with us.
Main Duties:
- Mixing drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
- Taking drink orders from waiting staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
- Satisfying customer requests in a timely manner
- Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
- Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with customers
- Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
- Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
- Planning bar menus
- Creating unique drinks
- Complying with all food and beverage regulations
About You:
- Previous experience working in a bar is essential
- Ability to work well individually, take initiative but also contribute and work effectively within a team
- Confidence and ability to react to situations and use initiative when required
- Strong people and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hard working and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to learn new skills
- General understanding of our dishes
- Passion and enthusiasm, positive attitude and motivated
- Available to work within opening hours, including evenings and weekends
